Hungary - Day 11

Yesterday we woke up in Horabagy, Hungary - the largest grassland in Europe. It was our only day to soak in it's wide open spaces so we took a carriage ride of the farmlands near our hotel. I would compare it to Hungary's version of a safari, and it was really quite fun!

These are donkeys I think?

Baby foal... ADORABLE.

Then we saw the coolest thing ever- Hungarian Cowboys. Who knew? They are famous for the way they ride as show below.

This guy rode really really fast on those horses.

Then they said we could ride them so of course Wylie jumps on first. Yee-haw.

... then Dr.Curtis

...then Katie!

They didn't have time for me to ride so I just got a cute picture with the cowboy.

Dog that herds the Albino water buffalo

Water buffalo!

Our beautiful hotel. I know I say that about all of them but they really are ALL so beautiful.

This is Hungarian money. Don't worry. I'm only holding about $24 worth.

Ok..so what you're about to see with make your mouth water. At the hotel they cooked us an authentic Hungarian meal...

With stew! It was divine.

New post from Slovakia in a little bit!
