I found out last week that I have officially raised my goal for my El Salvador mission trip!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to all that have booked a session, donated, and/or prayed for me! It has been such a blessing to see God already working in my life and in the lives of these orphans.
We had our second trip meeting last week and we have a plan of action in order to de-lice all 110 kids and hopefully lice-proof the orphanage. Wendy Twit got Nix to donate tons of lice treatments and another company called RobiComb to give us some zapper things that electrocute the lice? Not exactly sure how it works but you can watch a video about it here if you're interested! Pretty cool if you ask me.
I'm looking forward to meeting the kids and spending time with them. Please continue to pray for me and our entire team, and especially the kids we will be ministering to. I'm a little nervous about going to a entirely different country where I don't know the language too well and will not be able to communicate with the kids fluently most of the time, but I'm trusting that God will provide for me and help me love these kids anyway.
Can't believe the trip is almost here! March 6 is so soon. Be looking out for tons of pictures and updates once I get back on March 13!!!
