Mr. & Mrs. York

I could not be happier for my friends, Ryan and Micah! This summer I had the best time shooting their wedding. Usually during these things Heather and I are attatched at the hip, so it made me a little nervous to do this one by myself, but I think it turned out great :) The whole thing took place on the Murfreesboro square in what would soon be the new Y.E.A.H youth center that Ryan was about to open up. Since then, the classes, seminars, and concerts have been a huge hit with 'Boro kids (including my own brother).

Mr. & Mrs. Oates

So now that Christmas break is leaving me with tons of free time I'm finally getting around to posting this wedding that I shot a while back with Heather Latimer. Weddings are one of my favorite things to shoot because each one is so unique and personal to each couple. The Oates were so much fun to be around and so appreciative of us being there on their big day!

Posting another wedding soon!

Randy+Amelia+Alexandra+James+Will+Ava

This had to be my most energetic shoot so far. I have the most fun photographing families with personality and these guys definitely did. Due to the extremely cold weather we could not go outside but their house was so colorful and Christmas-y, so it worked perfectly. As you will see, there was no hiding their spunk. Thanks to Heather Latimer for letting me use her awesome gear while my camera is being worked on. Enjoy!

Ameila had the cute idea of gathering them around for stories and Christmas cookies :)

Such sweet eyes.

Ava was NOT camera shy. In fact she was posing for me at every point in the shoot. Love it! (Exhibit A)

Ava (Exhibit B)

Amelia wanted to get some shots of her in cooking attire since apparently she never cooks!

And who says parents can't be madly in love?

Favorite.

Father & daughter shots = precious.

I told them if they let me get some good shots they could do a silly pose. Apparently Will was very excited about this.

Thanks for being so great guys! And Ava, thank you for complimenting me on my "limo", aka my volvo station wagon. It made my day.

I might not be posting another session for a while because I am officially out of school and taking a holiday BREAK. I will, however, be posting some pictures from Colorado where the fam is going on vacation.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
